Elizabeth Ellis - Storyteller

Please pardon our dust while we make Elizabeth's new web portal. Shouldn't be too much longer.

"The most often asked question here at Finch is 'When is she coming back?"
-
Doris Ann King, Librarian, Finch Elementary School
"Far exceeded our expectations! Singularly worth the cost."
- Peggy Senn, Mesa Arizona Public Schools

From Big Read to Summer Reading Club, Elizabeth creates her special brand of literary magic at libraries with patrons of all ages.

Looking for something to enhance your curriculum, promote character education, stimulate reading, and celebrate diversity?
Bring Elizabeth Ellis to your school or library to share her gift of imagination. She speaks to the heart of every child from preschoolers to middle and high school students.

Half day visits of four sessions or full day visits of six sessions for schools mean smaller audiences in more intimate settings. Age-appropriate stories chosen specifically for your students from her vast repertoire of world folktales, stories from Appalachia and Texas, and accounts of heroic American women. With sufficient lead time, Elizabeth can develop a storytelling program to bring any part of the curriculum to life.

Elizabeth is listed on the Touring Roster of the Texas Commission on the Arts and the MidAmerica Arts Alliance. Partial funding may be available through these agencies. Please call Elizabeth for more information on TCA or MAAA funding.
